Separate Blogs?
Is it better to keep separate blogs for art and writing? I’ve been thinking I might start posting poetry / writing snippets soon, but I don’t know if I should create a separate space for those.
Also, I’ve been thinking about creating a separate account for following people and reblogging random things - more like a standard tumblr I guess? I feel bad when I don’t follow people in return, but I try to keep my dash here mostly art-and-writing-related. Is it relatively easy to juggle multiple blogs/accounts? Or am I just being over-particular? :0
TUMBLR FEELS
I want to take a moment to say how encouraging my forays into tumblr have been, thanks to the kindness of friends and strangers. Everyone I’ve encountered on tumblr so far has been so awesome and you’re all just really delightful people. <3 I’m really grateful to all of my followers, even if you’re just keepin’ me on your dash ‘cause you’re being nice. Sketchdump #1! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything so over the next few days I’m gonna go ahead and upload the things I’ve scanned from my sketchbooks, and some scraps I’ve had lying around that I probably won’t finish. This one is chock full o’ Torine. Torine fighting Nerull, Torine fighting party member Pippa Westwick, Torine being rescued by private investigator Dicks Hardly (non-canon :p)…THE WORKS. At the bottom are my attempts at designing her beardog mount, Ammi. :)

A gift for miss Nykii Ryan that I started in 2011, and completed last night. He is Ezaral, a deity in her very own literary mythos. I have decided to challenge myself by digging up unfinished Photoshop documents on my external hard drive, and completing them.

Ezaral is the archangel of the dead and dying in a story project I’ve been working on for some time now. He is associated with nighttime and the earth, winter and stone. I absolutely adore how Henny incorporated those elements here - and just the whole thing ahhhh <3

Our DM commissioned a portrait of some people the party will be encountering soon. It’s a weird feeling to be swooning over the art and wanting to punch all of them at the same time.

I’ve been writing a large chunk of Torine’s backstory in narrative form, but I sometimes have trouble envisioning her with her shorter hair from that age (24ish) - so I decided to try an expression matching one of her dialogue lines. I went back and forth which how much detail I liked with the coloring (decided on a little less) and ended up feeling like the expression wasn’t quite right, but I’m gonna leave it alone now. I may do some more of these, though, because I really like this version of her. But it will probably be a single image of smaller sketches without the colors, if I post them.
This may come as a shock to some of you, but I am very poor and get very sick. My husband majorly supports me on his savings and we live in a very basic apartment with very high rent. We were very recently married and are two months away from moving to Olympia, WA, to leave a very stressful and abusive life situation. These major life events have caused huge damage to our savings. Due to this, I’m opening commissions to pay for own half of bills!

I am aware that this is a very large sum and I don’t expect it all! But I’m going to draw until my hands bleed if it means I can even make a fraction of this! I have a fast turn around time for commissions, so last minute orders are not an issue. I will draw most any NSFW, but there is some select material that I will refuse.
